DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Michigan... Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County. .Between 2 and 3 inches of rain has fallen across the area over the last week, with another 0.5 to 1.5 inches expected late tonight and Saturday. If the additional rain amounts end up near the lower end of that range, we may avoid river flooding, but if the numbers end up on the higher end of that range we will likely develop minor flooding along the Muskegon River at Newaygo and Bridgeton. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. * WHERE...Muskegon River at Bridgeton. * WHEN...From late Saturday night to early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The river is bankfull. At 13.0 feet, Water overflows the banks into wooded areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached based on the latest forecast information. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the ground and obscures visibility.

It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets. Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions close to a body of water.

Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
