DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around one quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Iosco, Kalkaska, Missaukee, Ogemaw, and Roscommon Counties. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 7 PM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. Power outages and tree damage is possible due to the ice. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
INSTRUCTION: Slow down and use caution while traveling. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
